Pencil Sketch

Uncertain at first whether the chap was a Deaf. No turned out, likely smoking had done for him; hole in the throat will lie not too far ahead. Grew up hereabouts "last time", he wants you to know. His country. Luckily for the man only removed to Eunos first stop up the road. (Forgetting for the moment all the rest.) Another case of growing realization concluding the bleeding obvious: the fellow could in fact pass most certainly as one of ours. Definitely a Eurasian element, gran or great-gran in the works. Even the comb-back suggestive, following unconsciously from a photograph on a house wall possibly. Stiff neck injury and hulking gait suggests the common bike-fall. Tried for the quick-draw for the drinks, failing which turned round the mouth of his bag of fries and pleading: One (at least). Sallow, almost olive skin. Suggestions of a simpleton were also mistaken; perfectly lucid in fact. Ran a pancake stall upstairs at the market, since given over to the wife and son. Vague face in the crowd previously; good English and superior enunciation confirming the belated insight.
