Twenty minutes by bus from Joo Chiat Hotel. Warm barley and thick peanut butter floss toast goes down a treat about 10 30am - $S3.70. Ten years in Singapore, Steve Black the photographer was a Toast Box virgin until he was introduced; rather toey through the shoot, but managed to knuckle down to the task. Might have converted the Ohioan by the end. :-)
