Art’s a Beach - Sentosa, Singapore

Marina Abramovich: The Artist is Present (2012) shortly showing on a beach at Sentosa. "The Art-In-Film Festival at Dusk".
"…. high-brow films about art.... on a white sandy beach... organized by Social Services... non-profit arm of indie creative agency the Secret Little Agency... at Tanjong Beach Club on Sentosa... $19-56 depending on the food package.... Ai Weiwei.... his vocal criticism of the Chinese Government..... Another doco artist.... returns to his native Brazil to work with scavangers of recyclable materials.... (Festival Director considers) event a good way of introducing art to the public.... great, laid-back vibe.... fun..... deck-chairs or day-beds.... pop-corn or proper dinner.... promote art and culture.... (Same creative Agency project includes) How To Be a Tourist, on-line travel guide.... for places such as Singapore…."
Abramovich is a kind of Stelarc for Oz readers, a Serbian performance artist of Jewish-Montenegrin ancestry (daughter of a Titoist General), focused over 40 years on the Holocaust, mostly with her own body offered in the project. As suggested in an earlier post concerning a local bar named Auschwitz (“Labels and Brands” 11/18/2011), understandably the Holocaust has a rather tenuous connection to this tropical part of the world.
Could be anywhere. Right now show-time here in Singapore.

NB. Sentosa is the local Cote d'Azur, Miami & Surfers Paradise. Boutiques, casino, Liebeskind designed condos &etc.
